Teacher’s Conference
2012 GASC/Printing Industries of America Teacher’s Conference at GRAPH EXPO®

Register for the 2012 GASC/Printing Industries of America Teacher’s Conference today!
This conference is administered through Printing Industries of America through funding made possible by the Graphic Arts Show Company. This conference is free to all graphic arts educators from high school to college level. Travel grants are available to cover a portion of the cost of attendance. The 2012 GASC/Printing Industries of America Teacher’s Conference will provide an opportunity for graphic arts teachers to learn about current industry trends and see the latest equipment and supplies.
Costs and Funding
Registration is free for all participants (funded or not funded). The application deadline is April 23, 2012. You may register at any time for non-funded attendance to the Teacher’s Conference at GRAPH EXPO®.
Selected applicants will receive funding for double-occupancy accommodations (with assigned same-sex roommate); room and tax charges for the nights of October 6-7; a travel stipend based on the zone chart below; and free admittance to the GRAPH EXPO® 2012 tradeshow. Partial funding (half of room and tax charges for each night) for single-occupancy hotel accommodations is available on a limited basis.
Educators not chosen to receive funding may attend the conference at their own expense through arrangement with Printing Industries of America and will receive free registration as well as free admittance to GRAPH EXPO® 2012.
Airfare, travel costs, and meals will be the financial responsibility of each participant, regardless of funding.

Conference Time
The conference will start at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and concludes Monday at noon; the organizers urge you to be prepared to make late travel arrangements on the final day to give you a chance to spend more time on the tradeshow floor.
Earn Certified Education Units (CEU)
A total of one (1) CEU will be awarded for attendance at the Teacher’s Conference.
